Bill and Cathy McArthur Summer/Fall 2004: 7

   August began with tropical weather: heat, humidity, and the constant threat of showers and thunderstorms. Bill used some of the down time to study German via "Learning Plus", studying Macromedia Flash, and taking photographs. On August 6th, we celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary. It was a beautiful day and the official "Midsummer", so we parked our car at the lighthouse and walked into Cape May. We walked around for a while and then Cathy joined some bookstore colleagues for a luncheon while Bill ate at McGlades on the beach. Bill shot a few more photos after lunch and then joined Cathy and the girls for some post-luncheon chat. We stopped for some frozen mocha on the way back to the car. Later, we went to dinner at Daniel's on Broadway, financed by a gift certificate from our children that they picked up during the family reunion in June.
